We’ve had another amazing year,
and it’s all thanks to you!
On Saturday, April 24th, Lloydminster & area Walkers once again pounded the pavement in a demonstration of their commitment to the fight to end MS. The message was powerful – a total of 518 Walkers, including 51 teams turned out for the 12th Annual Lloydminster Enerflex MS Walk, even despite a spring snowstorm the day prior.
While the total continues to grow, the dollars raised look promising, currently sitting at $169,000. But, there’s still time to turn in money to help boost our numbers! We’re hoping to reach last year’s record-breaking $174,000 sum. With your help, we can do it.
Funds raised are divided equally between MS research and local Chapter programs & services. Just a reminder…A Portion of this year’s Walk research dollars will go directly to CCSVI-specific research as scientists further explore this promising new avenue.
Our Walk would not be possible without the dedicated efforts of a committed group of volunteers. We’d like to extend a huge thank you to all Walk Volunteers, and especially to our Walk Committee for their ceaseless efforts.
We’d also like to sincerely thank all of our corporate sponsors for their support, and all Walkers whose fundraising efforts are the driving force behind this event’s success year after year.
We look forward to raising the bar even higher for 2011 as we march on in the fight to end MS.

Do it as a team!
Whether your walking, cycling or golfing to end MS, it's more fun doing it as a team. The best part is the MS Society staff is here to help. We provide everything you need to create a fun-filled team of people you'd like to walk, ride or golf with - family, friends, co-workers, hockey buddies, book club members - you get the idea. Experience the camaraderie and excitement of a team while helping us end MS!
The team concept is simple, it is 4 plus more! We invite you to join with at least three of your friends, family and co-workers to create your own team. All you need to do is come up with a team name and we will take care of the rest! Our staff will reduce the demand on your time and resources with on-going support and motivational activities and incentives.
