Fundraising Online:
A Step-by-Step Guide to Get You Started!
Everyone that registers for an MS Society Fundraising event can use an online fundraising webpage. Fundraising online is safe, secure, and easy!
Login to your online fundraising webpage at www.mswalks.ca or www.msbiketours.com |

Login.
You will be asked for your Username and Password. If you have forgotten what they are, please click the “forgot your username and password?” or call the MS Society at 1-800-268-7582 or 1-866-991-0577 (YK) for help.

Donor Benefits |
Fundraising online makes it easy
for you to fundraise,but it also has
advantages for your
donors. |
- Donors will be emailed a tax receipt for their donation instantly.
Donors are helping more money go toward ending MS. Each online donation savesthe MS Society $1.50 in processing and postage costs.
- Donors can view your blog posts on your online fundraising webpage and track your progress to your fundraising goal.

and choose the “Fundraising” tab

Preview your webpage.
From the second row of tabs below,
choose “Preview web page.”

Login to the online fundraising system and choose the “Fundraising” tab and then choose “Ask for online pledges.” |

Login to the online fundraising system and choose the “Fundraising” tab and then choose “Ask for online pledges.”

Enter your email contacts.
Build a list of people you would like to pledge you online. Enter each person’s
name and email address and then click “Add.” When you have completed your
email list, choose “Create message.” Anyone can pledge you. Don’t forget to
include your faraway friends and family.

Personalize your message.
A default message will be provided for you. You can change the default message
by editing the text in the colored box. A
link to your online fundraising webpage
will automatically be included.

Preview and send your message.
When you’re done editing, choose “Preview” to review your email. Choose “Close preview” to return to the edit
window. Now you can either continue to
edit your message or hit “Send.”

Thank your donors.
Login to the online fundraising system
and choose the Fundraising” tab.
Then choose “Send a message to your
donors.” Click the “Include” checkbox
next to each of the donors you’d like to
email, or choose “Include all names.”
Choose “Create message.” Edit the
default message by changing the text in
the colored box, then preview your email,
or choose “Send.”
