Learning Events: National Education Session

Learning for LifeLearning for Life: Managing MS-related Bowel and Bladder Dysfunction
Changes in bladder and bowel functions for people with MS are quite common. These problems often occur, even in the early stages of MS, however, there are a variety of management strategies and medications available to help deal with them comfortably. The MS Society of Canada offered a live online education session focusing on MS and bowel and bladder dysfunction with these key points in mind:

  • the changes in bladder and bowel function common in MS

  • treatment options and management strategies that have proven effective in response

  • resources for support among the health professional community and the community at large
